Afro-fusion artiste and entrepreneur Prince Ameen Oba has released his fourth studio album, Initial Aura, marking a significant milestone in his music career after years of balancing entertainment with youth empowerment, community development and cultural advocacy across Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
Formerly known as Lil Prince, Oba said the album reflects his personal journey from his Nigerian roots to his new life in the UK. The project explores themes of identity, faith, family, resilience, personal growth and the realities of navigating major life transitions. Its release comes as he continues to expand his influence beyond music through entrepreneurship and impactful social initiatives.
A graduate of Agricultural Economics and Extension from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Oba founded Golden Prince Production, a multimedia and music production company with operations in Lagos and Kwara states, before relocating to the UK. He also established FestacMag, an entertainment and culture publication that later evolved into FestacMag Online TV, as well as the FTC Awards, an initiative created to honour individuals making meaningful contributions to society.
Beyond the entertainment industry, Oba has championed mentorship and empowerment programmes for young people while leading campaigns promoting mental health awareness and drug abuse recovery. His commitment to community development earned him an appointment as Supervisor for Youth, Sports, Social Development and Agriculture in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, where he implemented youth-focused and social inclusion initiatives before relocating to the UK to establish Golden Coterie Limited.
