Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has made an emotional appeal to Nigerians for financial support, revealing that she needs ₦30 million to undergo three urgent surgeries after spending the last three weeks in the hospital.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, the actress disclosed that her health condition had worsened beyond what she could manage on her own and appealed to fans, family members, colleagues, and well-wishers for assistance.
“My people, my fans and my family, I know that you’ve not seen me in circulation for some time. I’ve been hospitalised now for three weeks. Please, the thing has gone beyond my control,” she said.
Nwosu, who spoke while battling severe pain, pleaded with Nigerians not to abandon her during the difficult period.
“I need your help. Don’t let me die. I know that you people never forsake me. I’m begging you, my fans and family, don’t let me die because I am going through a lot, as in pain,” she added.
The actress disclosed that she requires three surgeries and urged anyone willing to support her medical treatment to contact her management.
“Please don’t let me die. If there’s anything you want to do for me, please contact my management. They’ll be there for you. Thank you. God bless you,” she said.
Ngozi Nwosu is one of Nollywood’s veteran actresses, widely celebrated for her roles in numerous television series and films over the years. Her appeal has drawn sympathy from fans and colleagues, with many expressing hope for her speedy recovery.
