‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson Accused of Assaulting Neighbor in Tennessee

Alan Ritchson, widely known for his role in the hit action series Reacher, has been filmed allegedly assaulting a neighbor during a confrontation in a suburban neighborhood in Tennessee.

In a video obtained by media outlet TMZ on Sunday, the 43-year-old actor appeared to strike a man several times while the individual knelt on the ground. Two children, reported to be Ritchson’s, were seen nearby sitting on motorbikes and watching the incident unfold.

The alleged victim, Ronnie Taylor, told TMZ that tensions began on Saturday when Ritchson rode his motorbike through the neighborhood at high speed while revving the engine. Taylor said he responded with an obscene gesture, which the actor allegedly returned.

According to Taylor, the situation escalated the following day when Ritchson returned to the area accompanied by his children on their own motorbikes. He claimed he approached the actor and asked him to slow down, saying, “Can you stop this please?” He alleged that the encounter quickly turned physical, with Ritchson striking him “at least four times.”

Photos shared by TMZ reportedly show Taylor with visible bruising and swelling on his face following the altercation.

However, other sources cited by the outlet offered a different account, claiming Taylor approached Ritchson in an aggressive manner and allegedly attempted to interfere with his motorbike, causing the actor to fall and sustain minor injuries. Another source alleged that Taylor initiated the confrontation.

Representatives for Ritchson have been contacted for comment.

Ritchson is best known for portraying the fictional former U.S. Army military police officer Jack Reacher in the television adaptation of the bestselling novels by Lee Child. The series has received praise for the actor’s physical performance and faithful depiction of the character.
