Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in the state and across Nigeria as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his goodwill message, the governor praised the Muslim community for their devotion, discipline, and deep spiritual commitment demonstrated through fasting, prayers, and acts of charity during Ramadan.

He highlighted the importance of the values of sacrifice, compassion, tolerance, and selflessness, noting that they are vital for building a peaceful, united, and prosperous society.

“Eid-el-Fitr is a time of joy, reflection, and gratitude. Let us celebrate in peace, extend love to one another, and remain steadfast in our shared responsibility to build a better Edo State,” the governor said.

He wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration.
