Oyedepo Says No Amount of Money Can Lure Him into Partisan Politics

The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has declared that no amount of money, including one billion dollars, could persuade him to participate in partisan politics.

Oyedepo made the statement while speaking to worshippers during the impartation service at the church’s annual convocation, Shiloh 2025. He used the occasion to encourage members to remain committed to their divine assignments rather than pursuing paths outside their calling.

The cleric explained that involvement in partisan politics does not align with his life’s purpose, stressing that his focus remains on his spiritual mandate.

According to him, believers who stay faithful to their God-given calling would be empowered to offer solutions to national and global challenges. He described a coming season in which committed Christians would rise to address societal crises, drawing parallels with biblical figures such as Joseph and Daniel.

Oyedepo also recalled warnings he had previously issued to the church, noting that events had unfolded as foretold. He said the world is currently facing deepening challenges that require divine solutions.

Citing Romans 8:19, the cleric stated that humanity is grappling with darkness and is earnestly awaiting the manifestation of the children of God to bring meaningful change.
