Tensions flared in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house on Thursday night after a heated altercation between housemates Zita and Rooboy spiralled into a physical confrontation during a team task.
The drama unfolded during Team Pineapple’s game session, when Zita accused Rooboy of disrupting her group’s performance. She criticised him for “blowing things out of proportion” and lacking the ability to manage situations.
Rooboy, however, defended himself, insisting he had already apologised to the team and even sought confirmation from fellow housemates Sultana and Mensan. But Zita dismissed his claims, stressing he never apologised to her personally. Kola then weighed in, suggesting Rooboy’s apology may have been general rather than specific, which only heightened the tension.
Trading of Insults
The exchange quickly deteriorated into name-calling, with Rooboy branding Zita “stupid.” She fired back, calling him a “dumb ass man.” As tempers rose, Rooboy taunted: “If I piss you off, what are you going to do?” Moments later, Zita hurled a plate of Indomie at him, prompting Rooboy to retaliate by hitting her.
The shocking confrontation left other housemates stunned, with Isabella immediately confronting Zita for provoking Rooboy by throwing food at him.
Given the show’s strict no-violence policy, the incident is expected to attract disciplinary measures, possibly suspension or disqualification.
