Liverpool and Manchester City will both face 15-time champions Real Madrid in the new-look Champions League league phase.
For the first time in history, six Premier League clubs are competing under the expanded 36-team format.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have also been paired with Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan in their eight group fixtures, while Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will take on Napoli and Borussia Dortmund alongside Real.
Under the new rules, English clubs cannot be drawn against each other until the knockout stages.
