INEC Urges Osun Residents to Collect Over 360,000 Unclaimed PVCs

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has appealed to residents of Osun State who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to seize the opportunity of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

INEC’s spokesperson in the state, Musa Olurode, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, noting that no fewer than 360,794 PVCs remain uncollected at the commission’s offices across the state.

“INEC in Osun is using this medium to inform the general public that the ongoing voter registration exercise provides yet another opportunity for people yet to collect their PVCs to do so,” Olurode said.

He explained that the cards are available for collection at all 30 INEC local government offices and the commission’s Area Office in Modakeke, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.

Olurode further urged eligible residents who have not registered before to take advantage of the CVR to do so, while cautioning against multiple registrations.
