Fulham are weighing up a potential bid for Basel winger Philip Otele, following reports that their scouts were present during Basel’s UEFA Champions League playoff clash against Copenhagen on Tuesday.
The Premier League side, managed by Marco Silva, are assessing whether to make a formal offer for the Nigerian forward, who has been valued at around €15 million by the Swiss club.
However, Fulham are not alone in the chase. Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt are also monitoring the 24-year-old closely, setting the stage for a possible transfer battle before the window closes.
