Speaking at a press briefing in Benin City, the Chairperson of the CGMI Mega Convention Planning Committee, Rev. (Mrs) Maureen Okoro-Sokoh, revealed that this year’s convention is themed “Focus on Christ for His Immeasurable and Infinite Love” and is designed to offer a powerful and life-transforming spiritual experience.
“This biennial gathering brings together thousands of worshippers, spiritual leaders, and believers from Nigeria and around the world,” Rev. Okoro-Sokoh stated. “It is our flagship global assembly, filled with the Word, worship, leadership empowerment, and youth-focused programs.”
She announced that the seven-day event will feature a dynamic lineup of anointed gospel ministers, including Rev. Julian Kyula, an internationally recognized speaker and pastor, alongside several seasoned ministers who will minister daily.
In addition to the preaching sessions, the convention will feature vibrant worship ministrations from a variety of spirit-filled gospel music ministers, creating an atmosphere of praise and spiritual renewal.
Also speaking at the briefing, the Director of Administration for CGMI, Rev. Tari Hudson Ekiyor, disclosed that over 40,000 delegates are expected to participate in this year’s convention.
“We believe MegaCon 2025 will usher in a divine season of revival, healing, and prosperity—not just for Edo State, but for the entire nation of Nigeria,” Rev. Ekiyor affirmed.
CGMI MegaCon 2025 promises to be one of the largest spiritual gatherings in Nigeria, fostering unity, growth, and a renewed commitment to the message of Christ’s love.
