The Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Barrister Kasimu Otono as the new Special Adviser on Oil and Gas.
This appointment follows the suspension of the former Special Adviser, Mr. Felix Isere.
Barr. Otono is a seasoned legal practitioner, real estate entrepreneur, philanthropist, and grassroots mobilizer. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a solid background in commercial, real estate, and oil and gas law.
He is a member of both the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the International Bar Association (IBA). Currently, he serves as a Senior Partner at Kay & Kay Legal, a law firm with core expertise in Commercial Law, Real Estate, and Oil & Gas Practice.
His appointment is expected to bolster the administration’s efforts in maximizing the state’s oil and gas potential for sustainable development.
