Major League Soccer has suspended Inter Miami stars Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba after both players failed to appear at the MLS All-Star Game without providing an official reason.
The league announced on Friday that the duo will be sidelined for Inter Miami’s upcoming match against FC Cincinnati on Saturday. Under MLS rules, All-Star selections who miss the event without a valid excuse are automatically handed a one-game suspension.
