The President of The Gambia, Adama Barrow, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.
President Barrow was warmly received by the Secretary to the Katsina State Government, Abdullahi Garba-Faskari, alongside members of the Buhari family.
In his tribute, Barrow described the late President Buhari as a towering figure in African democracy and a steadfast friend of The Gambia.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Yusuf Buhari, son of the late president, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the visit and the solidarity shown by President Barrow during their time of mourning.
