Edo, Niger Sports Commissions Strengthen Ties as Enabulele Hosts Danjuma Masu

The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Honorable Desmond Enabulele, has received his Niger State counterpart, Danjuma Masu, on a courtesy visit to his office in Benin City.

In a statement released by his Media Officer, Wilson Edoko, Enabulele reaffirmed Governor Monday Okpebholo’s unwavering commitment to advancing sports development across Edo State. He highlighted notable achievements of the Commission and unveiled strategic plans to position Edo as a dominant force in sports both nationally and internationally.

He further disclosed that Edo State is preparing intensively to emerge victorious at the 2026 National Sports Festival in Enugu.

Enabulele also extended Governor Okpebholo’s warm regards to Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, and the people of Niger State.

In his remarks, Danjuma Masu, who visited Edo to witness the first phase of the Ardova Handball Premier League, commended the state’s remarkable progress in sports under Governor Okpebholo’s leadership. He emphasized that sports development fosters unity, empowers youth, and serves as a vital tool in reducing social vices.
