Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez is reportedly on his way out of Anfield, with the club preparing to reinforce their attack this summer.
According to football transfer expert David Ornstein, Liverpool’s next priority in the transfer market is signing a new number nine. The Reds are currently eyeing Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike as potential replacements.
Nunez joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2022 for a fee of €85 million, but his time at the club could be coming to an end as progress on his sale is expected soon.
