Ubi Franklin Says Promiscuity Is the Biggest Challenge Facing Nigerian Artists

Popular Nigerian talent manager, Ubi Franklin, has revealed that promiscuity remains the biggest challenge confronting many artists in the music industry.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Culture Sonic Podcast, Franklin said the issue affects both male and female artists alike. He noted that managing artists is relatively easy when they are still struggling to make it, but things often change once fame and success come into play.

“Promiscuity is a major problem for a lot of artists—both men and women. Before they become successful, they are easier to manage. But once the fame kicks in, many of them lose focus and give in to distractions,” he said.

Promiscuity has long been a controversial topic in the music scene, with several artists over the years being embroiled in scandals involving infidelity, sexual misconduct, and cheating allegations.

Franklin’s comments have sparked discussions on the pressures of fame and how personal discipline impacts longevity and integrity in the entertainment industry.
