President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to refrain from speaking ill of the country, emphasizing that Nigeria has crossed a critical threshold and is now on the path to recovery and growth.
Speaking at a book presentation by Governor Hope Uzodimma during his one-day working visit to Owerri on Tuesday, Tinubu assured citizens that prosperity is on the horizon, describing the nation’s 65th independence anniversary as a significant milestone.
The President noted that the old ways had pushed the country to the brink of collapse, stressing that a decisive break from the past is the only way forward.
As part of his visit, Tinubu also commissioned the reconstructed 60-kilometer dual carriage Owerri–Mbaise–Umuahia Federal Road.
