President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Muhammad Babangida, son of former military President Ibrahim Babangida, as the new chairman of the restructured Bank of Agriculture.
The appointment was confirmed on Friday, alongside the selection of seven others for key positions. According to a statement released by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, some of the appointees will serve as chairmen or director-generals of various federal agencies.
In a related development, a newly appointed minister was immediately sworn in as party chairman.
