Tight Security as Katsina Police, NSCDC Deploy Personnel for Buhari’s Burial in Daura

The Katsina State Police Command, in collaboration with other security agencies, has implemented comprehensive security measures in Daura town and across the state ahead of the burial of former President Muhammadu Buhari, ensuring a smooth and peaceful ceremony.

Commissioner of Police, Bello Shehu, disclosed this while extending heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Katsina State, the late president’s family, friends, and the entire nation.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abubakar Sadiq, the command paid tribute to Buhari’s enduring contributions to Nigeria’s development and growth.

Similarly, the Katsina State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Aminu Datti, announced the deployment of 2,807 personnel for the burial event.

Commandant Datti made this known during a briefing with senior officers at the NSCDC State Headquarters, noting that the Commandant General, Abubakar Audi, also expressed profound sorrow over the loss of the former leader.
