Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has opened up about the personal challenges that come with his demanding music career, revealing how life on the road has strained his relationships.
In a candid post shared on Sunday via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Ruger explained that his busy touring schedule has taken a toll on both his love life and family connections.
“Being on the road has really affected my love life. It became worse after I went back to my black hair and low cut coz these girls have been over rushing me,” he wrote.
The “Asiwaju” crooner noted that despite the increased attention, he genuinely desires to settle down soon.
Ruger also reflected on how his thriving career has made it difficult to maintain close family ties, citing his packed performance calendar as a major factor.
“I hardly even see my family coz trust me, I’m the most booked artist in this country. People want to see me on stage around the world. They want that Ruger sauce every month,” he added.
