President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s strong commitment to curbing inflation and ensuring economic stability through fiscal discipline, transparency, and inclusive governance.
Speaking on Monday at the opening of the National Conference on Fiscal Governance, Transparency, and Accountability in Abuja, Tinubu—represented by the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite—emphasized the need for robust financial reforms.
The three-day conference was organized by the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly.
According to the president, efforts are already in motion to strengthen financial systems across all government agencies. He stressed that tackling inflation requires addressing underlying structural challenges, particularly in the areas of food production and supply chain efficiency.
