Okpebholo Approves New Appointments in Edo State
The Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of key officials into various strategic positions within his administration.
In a statement issued by the Government, the following individuals have been appointed to serve in different capacities:
- Hon. Orobosa Omo-Ojo, JP – General Manager, Bendel Newspaper Corporation
- Hon. John Osagie Inegbedion – Special Adviser to the Governor on Tax Reforms
- Johnson Jibril Adamu – Special Adviser to the Governor on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation
- Shuaibu Elamah – Special Adviser to the Governor on Law Reforms
- Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Imafidor – Special Adviser to the Governor on Livestock, Aquaculture and Agro-Processing
- Omorede O.E. Osifo – Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Mobilization
- Esther O. Eghaghe – Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Mobilization (Edo Central)
- Vera Omonkhafe Sadoh – Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Mobilization (Edo North)
- Mrs. Itohan Osahon – Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Mobilization (Edo South)
- Anslem Adima – Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
According to the statement, the appointments take effect from October 27, 2025.
Governor Okpebholo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and effective service delivery, noting that the appointees were carefully selected based on their experience, competence, and dedication to the development of Edo State.
