Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has revealed that she narrowly avoided injury after part of the POP ceiling in her Lekki residence suddenly collapsed.
The actress, in a video shared on Instagram and cited by PUNCH Online on Tuesday, expressed shock over the incident, noting that she had never witnessed such before.
According to her, the ceiling collapse occurred dangerously close to her newly acquired car, which could have suffered severe damage.
“Come to Lekki they said. Thank God no be inside house and my new car no dey there… wetin I for talk abeg? It’s well with una Lekki developers,” she wrote.
Nkechi Blessing Sunday, famed for her roles in films such as The Ghost and the Tout (2018), is also widely recognized for her vibrant social media presence.
Beyond her career, the actress has been in the headlines for her personal life. In May 2025, she confirmed her breakup with her boyfriend, Xxssive (Eseoghene Obire), clarifying that the relationship had ended amicably in 2024.
