Nigerian Army Operative Rescued from Ravaging Flood in Auchi

An unidentified Nigerian Army operative narrowly escaped death over the weekend after being swept away by a raging flood in Edo State.

The soldier, reportedly attached to the Army School in Nicoho, Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area, was caught in the flood while attempting to cross a drainage near Igbira Camp in Auchi.

According to an eyewitness identified simply as Justice, the soldier was carried away by the strong current before being rescued by concerned bystanders.
