Namibian referee Antsino Twanyanyukwa has been appointed to officiate the final match of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), featuring Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses and Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
This marks a historic moment, as Twanyanyukwa becomes the first Namibian ever to officiate a WAFCON final.
Supporting her on the field will be assistant referee 1, Alice Umutesi from Rwanda, and assistant referee 2, Tabara Mboji of Senegal.
The highly anticipated final is set to take place at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. Nigerian time.
