Martial Arts Legend and Action Star Chuck Norris Dies at 86

Chuck Norris, former world karate champion and iconic action movie star, has passed away at the age of 86.

His family shared the news on social media, stating: “While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.”

Norris rose to prominence in the late 1960s as a karate champion, and his friendship with fellow martial artist Bruce Leeled to his memorable role in Lee’s 1972 film The Way of the Dragon. He later starred in a string of financially successful action films, including Invasion USA and The Delta Force, and became widely known for the long-running TV series Walker, Texas Ranger.

Beyond his cinematic career, Norris was also known for his outspoken support of conservative political causes, which earned him a degree of political recognition. His legacy as both a martial artist and cultural icon continues to resonate with fans worldwide.
