Labour Party Picks Paul Okojie as Candidate for Edo Central By-Election

The Labour Party in Edo State has officially elected Honourable Paul Okojie as its flagbearer for next month’s by-election to fill the vacant Edo Central senatorial seat in the National Assembly.

Okojie emerged as the party’s candidate through a voice vote by delegates during a party gathering.

The seat became vacant following the emergence of Monday Okpeholo as Governor of Edo State.

In his remarks after the affirmation, Okojie expressed confidence in winning the upcoming election. He assured supporters that he is well-positioned to defeat his opponents from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
