Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has made his first public appearance since the conflict with Israel began.
State television aired footage of Khamenei greeting worshippers at a mosque on Saturday, during a ceremony held ahead of the Shia festival of Ashura.
His last appearance had been a recorded message following the ceasefire that ended the 12-day war, which began on June 13 and claimed the lives of several top Iranian commanders and nuclear scientists.
