Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Saturday, paid a condolence visit to his Kogi State counterpart, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
During the visit, Governor Okpebholo prayed that Almighty Allah grants the late Alhaji Ododo Al-Jannah Firdaus. He also asked for divine comfort, strength, and fortitude for the Ododo family to bear the loss.
The Edo governor described the death of a parent as one of life’s deepest sorrows but urged Governor Ododo to find solace in the legacies of his late father, which he said were defined by faith, service, discipline, and enduring devotion to family and community.
“May his memories remain a blessing, and his legacies continue to inspire generations to come,” Governor Okpebholo stated.
