Former NBA star Lamar Odom has successfully completed a 30-day rehabilitation program at iRely Recovery in Los Angeles after his recent DUI arrest.
The 46-year-old entered treatment shortly after the incident. Odom publicly stated that neither alcohol nor narcotics were involved in the arrest. However, police reported that his vehicle smelled strongly of marijuana and that he admitted to smoking earlier that day.
According to his manager, Gina Rodriguez, Odom chose to seek treatment to address his marijuana use, concerned that it could potentially lead him back to harder substances. He has previously been open about his struggles with addiction.
Odom selected iRely Recovery after reconnecting with the facility’s CEO, Vinsent Franke. In 2023, Franke had invited him to visit the center after hearing an emotional speech Odom delivered at the Annual California Addiction Conference. Following the DUI incident, Odom reached out to Franke and was promptly admitted into the program.
Now out of rehab, Odom is reportedly focusing on a new business venture. Sources say he is developing HealLO.co, an AI-powered nationwide platform designed to connect individuals with wellness and treatment centers across the United States.
