The Edo State Government has announced the approval of the appointment of a new Governing Council for Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, by His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State.
The newly appointed members are;
- Hon. Samuel Oboh – Chairman
- Dr. Abdul Wasiu Oyakhire – Member
- Isibor Philips Isa Oseremen – Member
- Igbinadolor Patience Osamede – Member
- Louis Amienwan Okojie – Member
- Dr. Anthony Oyase Atogwe – Member
The Governor’s approval reflects his administration’s commitment to strengthening governance structures in the State’s tertiary institutions, with a focus on promoting academic excellence, efficient administration, and advancing the goals of the SHINE Agenda in the education sector.
The new Governing Council is expected to leverage their diverse expertise and professional experience to reposition Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, as a leading center for innovation, technical advancement, and skill development.
