The Edo State Senior Secondary Education Board (SSEB) has congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo on his first anniversary in office, praising his administration’s strides in transforming the state’s education sector.
In a statement signed by the Executive Chairman, Dr. Ikponmwonsa Erewele, through her media officer, Famous Iguisi, the Board described the Governor’s leadership as visionary and result-oriented.
Dr. Erewele commended Governor Okpebholo’s proactive approach to governance, noting that his policies have driven remarkable progress in senior secondary education across the state.
She applauded his open-door leadership style, responsiveness to the needs of educators, and unwavering commitment to improving teaching and learning standards.
According to her, the administration’s interventions have led to visible improvements in school infrastructure, teacher motivation, and students’ performance in both internal and external examinations.
As the Governor marks one year in office, the SSEB reaffirmed its support for his educational agenda, pledging continued collaboration in advancing quality education in Edo State.
Dr. Erewele expressed confidence that, under Governor Okpebholo’s sustained leadership and divine guidance, Edo students will continue to excel and evolve into responsible leaders contributing to the state’s growth and development.
