Nigerian comedian I Go Save has taken to social media to express his frustration with the country’s ongoing electricity challenges, describing the current situation as the worst he has witnessed in his lifetime.
On his social media post, the entertainer lamented that many areas have been without power for weeks, months, or even years, raising concerns about how businesses that depend entirely on government electricity manage to operate under such conditions.
He also highlighted a disparity between government facilities and ordinary citizens, pointing out that Aso Rock uses solar/inverter systems, the Ministry of Power relies on generators, and most government residences are powered by diesel generators, often provided by family members or associates of officials.
I Go Save ended his post with a poignant question:
“Are we ever going to have stable electricity?”
His comments underscore growing public frustration over the nation’s unreliable power supply and the perceived inequality in access between government institutions and citizens.
