Veteran coach Salisu Yusuf has parted ways with Nigeria Premier League side Nasarawa United to take up a new coaching role in the Benin Republic.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach, who joined Nasarawa United midway through last season, made a significant impact by steering the Solid Miners away from relegation and guiding them to the semi-finals of the President’s Federation Cup.
The 63-year-old tactician is already in Cotonou to finalize what sources describe as a lucrative deal.
Before committing to the Beninoise club, Yusuf reportedly turned down an approach from his former side, Kano Pillars.
