Chris Martin Hails Ayra Starr as “Future World’s Biggest Pop Star” During Coldplay Tour in Miami

British music icon and Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, has declared Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr as a future global music powerhouse, calling her “the world’s biggest pop star in the making.”

Martin made the bold prediction while inviting the 21-year-old singer on stage during Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres world tour stop at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The momentous performance saw Ayra Starr thrill the crowd with her collaboration with the band, Good Feelings, as well as her energetic solo track, Hot Body.

Among the audience were global football star Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, who were spotted enjoying the show from the VIP section.

In a separate development, Ayra Starr has addressed rumors concerning her new five-year deal with Roc Nation, the entertainment company owned by Jay-Z. Reports had claimed the contract included a controversial clause prohibiting her from having a boyfriend or starting a family during the agreement’s term.

Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) account, the Sability crooner refuted the claims, saying:

“I never heard such nonsense. That clause does not exist.”

Ayra Starr’s rising global profile continues to draw attention, as she cements her status as one of Africa’s most promising exports on the world stage.
