Bankole-Balogun Declares Bid for Akoko Edo House of Representatives Seat

Otunba (Hon) Oladele Bankole-Balogun has officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Akoko Edo Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a message addressed to party leaders and stakeholders in Akoko Edo, Bankole-Balogun said his decision to join the race was driven by a strong conviction that the constituency deserves effective representation, greater national visibility, and accelerated development.

He stated that his ambition is not merely to contest but to win and deliver meaningful results to the people of Akoko Edo.

The aspirant highlighted his professional and public service background, noting that he has served in key positions, including as a Federal Commissioner and most recently as Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue. He said these experiences have equipped him with the capacity, relationships, and competence required to provide quality representation.

Bankole-Balogun also emphasized his commitment to integrity, resilience, and strong leadership values, which he described as essential for advancing the interests of the constituency.

He expressed confidence that with the support and alignment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, and Senator Adams Oshiomhole, Akoko Edo stands to benefit from increased opportunities and development.

The APC aspirant appealed to party members and stakeholders to support his candidacy, pledging to deploy his experience, influence, and network to reposition Akoko Edo for progress and national relevance.
