Pop star Pink and her husband, retired motocross racer Carey Hart, have reportedly separated for the second time after two decades of marriage, a source told People on Thursday, February 26.
The “Who Knew” singer, 46, and Hart, 50, first met at the Summer X Games in Philadelphia in 2001. After dating on and off for four years, Hart proposed in 2005, and the couple tied the knot in Costa Rica in January 2006. Together, they have two children: daughter Willow Sage, 14, and son Jameson Moon, 8.
This is not the first time the couple has separated. In February 2008, Pink announced they had split, a break that inspired some of her hit songs including “So What” and “Please Don’t Leave Me.” At the time, her representative said, “This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”
The couple reunited the following year after attending couples counseling, later welcoming Willow in June 2011 and Jameson in December 2016.
In January 2024, while celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary, Pink revealed that she and Hart had almost split again in 2023. “Love is a lifetime of coming back to the table. We almost didn’t make it to this one, well a couple of them, if I’m being honest,” she captioned a series of photos of the pair over the years.
The latest news of their separation marks a new chapter in a marriage that has seen both ups and downs, but remains marked by mutual respect and shared family bonds.
