Flying Eagles midfielder Auwal Ibrahim has completed a move to Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel, signing a three-year contract with the Red and White.
Ibrahim, who previously featured for Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Akwa United, rose to prominence with his standout displays at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations held in May.
The creative midfielder was instrumental in Nigeria’s campaign, scoring the decisive goal in Aliyu Zubairu’s side’s 1-0 victory over Tunisia, a performance that earned him the Man of the Match award.
Highly regarded for his versatility and playmaking ability, Ibrahim is tipped to play a crucial role in the Flying Eagles squad for the upcoming 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
