“I Once Regretted Not Settling Down Early” – MI Abaga Reflects on His Journey to Marriage

Veteran Nigerian rapper MI Abaga has opened up about his personal journey to finding love and settling down, shedding light on the emotional and internal struggles he experienced while watching his peers get married and start families.

In a recent interview, the acclaimed rapper revealed that he once felt a deep sense of regret for not marrying earlier. According to him, it was difficult watching his contemporaries become parents while he remained single, unsure of when or if he would find the right partner.

“I used to feel like I missed out,” Abaga admitted. “Seeing my friends settle down, have kids… it made me question my own journey.”

However, with the benefit of hindsight, the rapper now views his path with gratitude. He shared that just a year after ending a previous relationship, he met the woman who would later become his wife, and he no longer harbors any regrets about his timing.

Reflecting on his past relationships, MI also acknowledged his own shortcomings. “I was stubborn. I wasn’t mature enough at the time,” he confessed, highlighting how personal growth and emotional maturity played a crucial role in preparing him for marriage.

Today, MI Abaga appears fulfilled and content, using his story to encourage others who may be feeling left behind in their own journeys.
