The Edo State Government has officially commissioned the New Edo Line transport company, a major initiative aimed at improving mobility and driving economic development across the state.
Residents and stakeholders have lauded the launch, highlighting its potential to create job opportunities and offer affordable transportation options for commuters.
ThankGod Aruno described the initiative as a timely and positive step toward reducing unemployment. Similarly, Alex praised the project as a revenue-generating opportunity for the state, calling it a “commendable initiative.”
Other citizens emphasized the affordability of the service compared to existing transport providers. Elder Patrick, speaking on behalf of the elderly community, expressed strong support and stressed the need for the project to remain accessible and beneficial to the general public.
With operations now underway, hopes are high that the New Edo Line will transform public transportation and contribute meaningfully to Edo State’s socio-economic progress.
