Nigerian music icon 2Face Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has addressed what he describes as the biggest misconception about his personality and private life.
Speaking during an interview with Voice of Nigeria, the veteran singer, songwriter and activist said many people wrongly believe he is a womaniser.
Responding to a question from the host about the most common misconception about him, 2Baba said, “The biggest misconception about me is that I’m a womaniser. People think I am, but I’m not. I am just a lover boy.”
The award-winning artiste acknowledged that he appreciates women but stressed that he is honest in his dealings. Referencing a line from one of his songs, he added, “I like women, but I dey straightforward,” underscoring what he described as his transparent approach to relationships.
2Baba’s comments have since sparked conversations among fans, with many revisiting long-standing public perceptions about the celebrated musician’s personal life.
